According to official website of Kunshan Education Bureau, there is only one university in Kunshan, named Kunshan Duke University, which is located in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. Duke University in Kunshan is a non-profit Sino-US joint venture university founded by Duke University in the United States and Wuhan University in China, with Kunshan Municipal People's Government as the cooperative supporter. It is a comprehensive research university with independent legal person status.
