Yunnan Vocational College of Judicial Police Officers was established in 1980. It is a provincial full-time political and legal police college. Its school-running specification is the specialized level of higher vocational education. Its predecessor was Yunnan Second Public Security School and Yunnan Judicial Police School. The college mainly trains and transports police with certain legal literacy for prisons, reeducation-through-labor institutions and public security prison management departments.
