Chen Zhiya made a welcome speech on behalf of the school. He welcomed the leaders at all levels who attended the opening ceremony and congratulated the success of this photo exhibition. He pointed out that the holding of this photo exhibition not only added a rich artistic and cultural color to the 80th anniversary celebration of Xidian, but also set up a vivid photography art class, which provided a rare opportunity for photographers of Xidian to learn and communicate, and also demonstrated the sincere heart of Yang Yuanxing's alumni to his alma mater.
In his speech, alumnus Yang Yuanxing expressed his gratitude for the success of the photo exhibition of his alma mater. He deeply reviewed his photography career for more than 50 years and his love affair with Xidian. He said that from 196 1 to 1963, he had a wonderful youth in China People's Liberation Army Military Telecommunication Engineering College (predecessor of xidian university). Today, he returned to his alma mater. He was very excited. He is very pleased and proud to see that he has trained many leading figures and technical backbones for his alma mater and made important contributions to national construction and social progress.
