Luan Wenmin, 1964, graduated from the Department of Stomatology of Beijing Medical College (now Peking University College of Stomatology), 1982-1984, studied geriatric stomatology at the Royal Dental College of Aarhus. 1985-2000 Vice President of Beijing Hospital and Deputy Director of Institute of Geriatrics, Ministry of Health. He is currently the chief physician of the Department of Stomatology of Beijing Hospital, an adjunct professor and doctoral supervisor of Peking University College of Stomatology; Honorary President (former President) of Stomatologist Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association and Consultant (former Vice President) of Chinese Stomatological Association; Chairman of the first and second sessions of the Professional Committee of Geriatric Stomatology of Chinese Stomatological Association; Deputy editor-in-chief of China Journal of Practical Stomatology; He was the deputy editor-in-chief of Chinese Journal of Stomatology and China Journal of Stomatology (English version). Editors of more than ten professional magazines such as Chinese Medical Journal. He has served as the editorial board of five international magazines (two of which were included in SCI), an outstanding academician of China International College of Dentistry, and a visiting professor of the School of Dentistry of Geneva University.
Engaged in the research and clinical work of geriatric stomatology is one of the founders of geriatric stomatology in China. In recent years, 42 papers have been published in domestic and foreign magazines, including 16 papers published by international magazines and 14 papers published by SCI. He edited 7 monographs such as Practical Stomatology, and participated in the compilation of 8 monographs at home and abroad such as Practical Stomatology and Dental Caries (Cambridge University Press). He has participated in many international academic conferences and made reports and papers, and was invited to give lectures on "China Geriatrics" in dental schools in the United States, Britain, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, Denmark and other countries. It has a certain influence in the field of international geriatric dentistry.
