Debate Competition In order to further enhance mutual understanding, enrich university life, improve students' rigorous thinking and exercise their eloquence, our department will hold a debate competition. 1. Time: preparation in the second week, preliminary contest in the third week and final in the fourth week. 2. Location: to be determined. Participants: Considering the CET-4 for Grade 03 students, Grade 02 students are preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination, mainly Grade 04 students. 4. Debate theme: To be determined, there will be three debates, each with a theme. 5. Basic procedures: 04-level public management book 1.2 team, 3.4-level team, two teams against each other; There is a team of four classes in the School of Public Administration and a team of two classes in the School of Public Relations. The two teams are opposite. The two winning teams entered the final. 6. Awards: One best debater team (the final champion) and four best debaters (one for each team). After the game, we will give extra points and rewards according to the regulations. I believe this activity will definitely improve everyone's eloquence, thinking and wit.
Two: CET-4 mock exam English has always been the top priority of our study. Our department has always attached great importance to English learning, and it is also very important for everyone to learn English well, especially the mock exam of Band 4 is related to everyone's graduation certificate and degree certificate. In order to further improve students' English scores in Grade 03 and face CET-4 with confidence and calmness, we have conducted a series of mock CET-4. 1. Time: every other week from the fourth or fifth week. 2. Location: to be determined. 3. Participants: mainly Grade 03 students, and some Grade 02 students who failed can also participate. 4. Form: In strict accordance with the form of CET-4, the learning department will select the test questions, contact the Foreign Languages Department for listening, organize students' union members or senior monitor and secretary of the League branch to supervise, and organize the study committee members of each class to correct the test papers. Finally, the learning department will collect the test results, find out the problems and report to the teachers and monitor of Grade 03. I hope to improve students' ability to take exams in this way, find their own shortcomings in time and further correct them, so that teachers can quickly and effectively understand students' situation.
Third, give a series of lectures on the situation faced by students at all levels, such as college entrance examination, band 4, computer level 2, postgraduate entrance examination, etc. Our department tries to organize various lectures to answer questions for students, so that students can be more prepared to face, learn with motivation, learn with methods and learn with results. Regular activities 1. Regular meetings of the study committee are held to obtain first-hand information about the study of each class from the members of the study committee of each class, so as to help everyone correct their study attitude, build up their confidence, create a good study atmosphere in the humanities and social sciences department, and timely inform the students of the activities of the school and the department, which fully embodies the service function of our student union. 2. The regular meeting of the learning department adheres to the internal regular meeting system of the learning department and is held at 6:30 pm every Sunday in c 105. Understand the progress of each member's assignment, any problems or difficulties, and the summary after the activity, including achievements and shortcomings, and insufficient improvement. All members put their heads together on the questions raised, and strive to do a better job and give you the best service. 3.
