Founded in September, 1969. It was named the 13th Middle School in Hangzhou, renamed the affiliated middle school of Hangzhou Normal University in August, 1979, designated as the key middle school in Zhejiang Province in June, 1984, recognized as the first-class key middle school in Zhejiang Province in June, and 1997, and named as the provincial civilized school in August. In August 2000, the school moved from Jiaogong Road to No.5 Zhenhua Road, adjacent to the Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University, a famous national key university. 200 1 was rated as a provincial and municipal green school. In 2007, it was renamed as the middle school affiliated to Hangzhou Normal University, and was rated as an excellent first-class key middle school in Zhejiang Province.
