1, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine
Referred to as "North Traditional Chinese Medicine", it is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, featuring the discipline of traditional Chinese medicine. Ranked in the national 2 1 1 project and the first batch of "double first-class" world-class discipline construction universities in China. The school was founded in 1956, formerly known as Beijing College of Chinese Medicine, and is the earliest institution of higher learning of Chinese medicine approved by the State Council.
1993, renamed Beijing University of Chinese Medicine; In 2000, it merged with Beijing Institute of Acupuncture and Orthopaedics to form a new Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
2. Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Referred to as "Shang Yi", it was built in 1956, and its president was personally appointed by Premier Zhou Enlai. It is one of the first TCM colleges established in China after the birth of New China, and the first TCM college jointly established by the Ministry of Education and local government.
