University of stirling's academic advantages
University of stirling is one of the largest universities in Scotland and one of the most modern universities. Founded in 1967, this school is the most creative university-it is the first university in Britain to introduce a dual-semester system. Each semester 15 weeks of teaching starts in February and September respectively, and the summer vacation lasts from the end of June to the middle of August. The school attaches great importance to teaching and research, and the subjects that have achieved excellent results in the recent national teaching quality evaluation are economics, environmental science, religion and sociology. There are four colleges in the university: College of Arts, College of Humanities, College of Management and College of Natural Sciences, and many courses and some unusual subjects are offered to attract students. School of Management covers a wide range, including sports management research. Sterling is also a research center for Japanese studies in Scotland, with a strong faculty in film and media courses. The courses of its environmental science department are increasingly inclined to aquaculture-related courses. The school has great flexibility in the choice of majors and is very popular with students.
