Xi 'an Jiaotong University, referred to as "Xi Jiaotong University", is located in Xi, Shaanxi Province. It is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Shaanxi Province and the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and it is a national "double-class" university.
By June 5438+00, 2022, the four campuses of Huaxi Innovation Port, Xingqing, Yanta, Qujiang and Science and Technology, occupied an area of about 4,658 mu, with a total area of about 4 million square meters. Before the adjustment of departments, there were 17 departments of science, engineering and management, 1 specialist and 1 research institute, except that disciplines such as machinery, electrical machinery and shipbuilding were strengthened by Tongji University, Datong University and other relevant departments of universities in Shanghai and surrounding areas.
