Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, located in Guangzhou, is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, state administration of traditional chinese medicine and Guangdong Provincial People's Government, and is a national "double-class" university. High-level university construction units in Guangdong Province and "2 1 1 Project" to build universities in Guangdong Province;

The first batch of "excellent doctor (Chinese medicine) education and training plan" reform pilot universities and "top-notch innovative talent model reform pilot universities in Chinese medicine" by the Ministry of Education, the first batch of doctoral and master's degree awarding units in China, and the universities with exemption postgraduate recommendation qualifications were selected into the national postgraduate project of building high-level universities and the national "key disciplines with characteristics";
