Application approval procedure

Article 5 Before applying for exchange study in other schools, students should fully understand the curriculum of the corresponding semester of the school they apply for, properly arrange their own study according to the training plan and teaching plan of the school, and submit the study and plan during the exchange study in writing to the dean (department head) in charge of teaching of the school (department) for approval and filing. Exchange students should take at least the credits equivalent to the professional training plan during the exchange study, and the school encourages students to take as many courses as possible.

Article 6 Under the principle of "openness, justice and fairness", all relevant colleges (departments) shall make a comprehensive evaluation of the enrolled students according to the selection conditions. According to the academic performance and comprehensive quality, the primary list is determined.

Article 7 All colleges (departments) shall organize students to fill in the Application Form for Undergraduate Exchange Students of Guizhou University to Go to Universities at Home and Abroad and the Application Form for Course Credits Recognition and Grade Conversion of Undergraduate Exchange Students of Guizhou University, and review and confirm the courses, credits and related materials applied for exchange.

Article 8 The Academic Affairs Office of the school shall determine the recommended candidates after reviewing the recommended list submitted by relevant colleges (departments). If the exchange students involve foreign universities, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation shall handle the relevant foreign-related procedures on behalf of the universities.

Article 9 Exchange students sent by other schools to our school shall be examined and accepted by various colleges (departments), and then the information of exchange students shall be submitted to the Academic Affairs Office for examination and approval.

Determination of course credits and grades

Article 10 The credits and grades of the courses taken by exchange students shall be sent to the relevant colleges after being sealed by the other school (or brought back by the students themselves, but with the official seal of the other school, etc.). ) file it within one month after the exchange study, and submit a copy of the transcript to the academic affairs office for retention.

Article 11 Exchange students who have filled out the Application Form for Course Credits Identification and Grade Conversion of Undergraduate Exchange Students in Guizhou University before going to the other school will be identified and converted in strict accordance with this form.

If the course name, content and credits are consistent with the requirements of our school's training program, its credits will be directly converted according to our school's credits.

If the content and credits of the course are quite different from the requirements of our school's training program, the following methods can be adopted:

1, the courses taken are recorded as elective credits, and the irreplaceable compulsory courses in the training plan will be made up after returning to school.

2. Students apply for the exam, and with the consent of the teacher and the college (department), don't listen to this course and take the exam directly.

Article 12 If an exchange student fails to fill in the Application Form for Course Credits Recognition and Grade Conversion of Undergraduate Exchange Students in Guizhou University before going to the other school due to special circumstances, the college (department) will recognize the courses and credits replaced by its courses and report them to the Academic Affairs Office for approval.

Thirteenth achievements appraisal and transformation:

The appraisal and transformation of achievements are generally handled in the following two ways:

1. If the course scores of exchange students in the other school are recorded with a percentage system, they will log in according to the percentage system given by the other school.

2. If students register in the form of "excellent (show), good (good) and average (etc.). ), passed and failed, which will be converted into "95, 85, 75, 65 and 55" respectively.
