Xiaoxiang College of Hunan University of Science and Technology is a full-time undergraduate independent college organized by Hunan University of Science and Technology, approved by Hunan Provincial People's Government and confirmed by the Ministry of Education in the first batch. It is located in Xiangtan, a famous historical and cultural city, the hometown of the great man Mao Zedong. The college implements the dean responsibility system under the leadership of the board of directors, and the chairman is Professor Li Bochao, president and doctoral supervisor of Hunan University of Science and Technology. The college has successively won the "Hunan Private Education Quality Resource Award" and the "National Red Flag Youth League Committee of May 4th Coal Industry", and won favorable comments in welcoming the special inspection and evaluation of running conditions of independent colleges of the Ministry of Education and the annual inspection of Hunan Provincial Education Department.
