Nanjing Agricultural University, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It was established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. It is a national first-class university with the advantages of 2 1 1 project and 985 project.

The school's predecessor can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal School 1902 Department of Agricultural Natural History and Jinling University 19 14 Department of Agricultural Science. 1952 national university adjustment, the former Agricultural College of Central University, Agricultural College of Jinling University and some Agricultural Colleges of Zhejiang University merged to form Nanjing Agricultural College;
