Fan Ceng was born in Nantong, Jiangsu Province. He is a great scholar, thinker, master of Chinese studies, master of painting and calligraphy, writer and poet in China. He advocated "returning to classicism and nature" and practiced the aesthetic principle of "taking poetry as the soul and books as the bone", which made great contributions to the development of Chinese painting and pioneered the "neoclassicism" art. He was a great painter and scholar in China. This is first-rate.

Up to now, Fan Ceng has published 160 kinds of paintings, calligraphy, poems, essays, artistic theories and speeches. Distinguished professor of Wuhan University, honorary professor of Inner Mongolia University, distinguished professor of Jinan University, distinguished professor of Zhengzhou Normal University and Zhongzhou University, chairman of China Painting and Calligraphy Collection Committee, member of China Artists Association, consultant of China Artists Association, member of NLD Central Committee, member of art steering committee of NLD Central Academy of Fine Arts, honorary curator of Badashanren Memorial Hall in Nanchang, academic consultant of Tianjin Sinology Research Association, director of Panshan Academy in Tianjin and consultant of Liangshan County Government in Shandong Province.

Yang Zhenning, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics, commented: There is no problem in Fan Ceng here today. He is a contemporary master, a contemporary calligrapher and a contemporary painter. In my layman's opinion, he is not only contemporary, but also not as big as him for hundreds of years.
