Zhangzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology is located next to National Highway 324 (Xiamen-Shenzhen High-speed Railway Zhangpu Station) in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, covering an area of 1.300 mu, with a school building area of 1.800 square meters. Approved by the People's Government of Fujian Province and put on record by the Ministry of Education, this school is a full-time general vocational college with an independent higher education diploma. The school has a three-year academic system and consists of tea college, business college, food science and technology college, art design college and civil engineering college. It is the first vocational college in China with the qualification of recruiting foreign students and students from Taiwan Province Province, which is undertaken by the national "Twelfth Five-Year" science and technology support project and the national foreign aid training project. It is also the training project implementation base approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Taiwan Affairs Office.
The school has carried out "undergraduate education" with Jimei University, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Minnan Normal University and Fujian Institute of Technology, and has carried out inter-school cooperation and study exchange with a number of well-known universities such as Taiwan Province Gaoyuan University of Science and Technology, Datong Institute of Technology, Yuda University of Science and Technology, National University of Arts and Thomas University in the United States. In 2008, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to become the first higher vocational college with the qualification of recruiting foreign students and students from Taiwan Province Province. In June 2009, it won the title of "Safe Campus". Since 2009, Zhangzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology has regularly held pollution-free tea foreign aid training courses sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce. A total of11students from 28 developing countries participated in the training, and the first batch of graduates were trained in June 20 10, with an employment rate of 100%. On March 20 12, it officially passed the talent training evaluation of higher vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education.
