The Measures for the Examination and Approval of Doctor's and Master's Degree Authorization have been examined and approved at the 33rd meeting of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee. It is pointed out that the examination and approval of degree authorization includes the examination and approval of new degree authorization and the dynamic adjustment of degree authorization points.
First, the new degree authorization audit is divided into:
1, add a doctoral degree-granting unit for review.
2, the degree-granting units to add doctoral master's first-level disciplines and professional degree categories (hereinafter referred to as the "new doctoral master's degree") audit.
3. Audit of new degree points by independent audit institutions. Twenty colleges and universities have obtained degree authorization for independent examinations.
Second, the dynamic adjustment of degree authorization points refers to the adjustment of degree authorization points of degree-granting units that independently revoke existing doctoral and master's degree points and add other doctoral and master's degree points that do not exceed the number of revocation.
