The required courses for the majors of the Department of Mathematics mainly include: advanced algebra, mathematical analysis, ordinary differential equations, complex variable functions, analysis, topology, real variable functions, probability theory, mathematical statistics and so on. These courses are mainly for freshmen and sophomores, and they are offered slightly differently in different schools.

Teachers also offer mathematics teaching methods, pedagogy and psychology in middle schools; Elective courses include combinatorial mathematics, mathematical software, wavelet analysis, differential manifold, partial differential equation, mathematical history and so on.
