The International College of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications offers courses of teaching Chinese as a foreign language at all levels, compulsory or elective courses such as Chinese, China history, China culture and international relations, as well as various international training programs and cultural experience camps.

Since 2000, the school has been recruiting international students from China. It is an enrollment unit of China Municipal Government Scholarship and Chongqing Mayor Scholarship. At the same time, the school has established the President Scholarship and various special scholarships of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications to attract outstanding international students to study in the school. At present, there are more than 600 international students from 62 countries, of whom more than 50% are graduate students.
