Shanghai International Exchange College was founded on 1999 with the approval of Shanghai Education Commission (Shanghai Education Commission 1999-42), sponsored by Shanghai Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission and Shanghai Education Development Foundation. It is an international cooperative school, introducing foreign advanced majors and cultivating high-level compound talents in foreign trade and economic cooperation. The Sino-Australian cooperative education project (business administration) undertaken by the College was approved by Shanghai Education Commission 1999. Shanghai Radio and TV University and South Jiaotong University are both public schools with standardized running and rigorous teaching. They have a history of 1 1 years and are well received by students, parents and society. Xie Lijuan, chairman of Shanghai Education Development Foundation (former vice mayor of Shanghai and vice chairman of CPPCC) is the director of the project management committee.
