These two are the main semesters, and most students will complete the required courses. But in some majors, such as engineering, quite a few students leave some courses during the summer vacation.

May to June in spring

Summer July to August

You can choose to continue your classes, go home to play, or work these two semesters. Spring offers fewer courses than autumn and winter. Even less in summer. For an engineering student, it is a good choice to make up elective courses in these two semesters.

There will be a Christmas holiday of about three weeks at the end of February. Not many people return home, because the time is short and the air tickets are expensive.

May-August holidays to see individuals, including returning home, attending classes, working and traveling in Canada.
