1. Is the system science major a bad major?
The system science major is not bad.
First of all, the full name of the system science major is "System Science and Engineering", which is a new major only opened in 20 18 years. At present, only three universities offer this major, namely Beijing Normal University, Beijing Jiaotong University and Yulin Normal University. The first batch of students in this major have not graduated yet, so it is obviously unreasonable to arbitrarily say that it is a bad major.
Secondly, the major of System Science and Engineering is a major under the category of physics, and it mainly studies courses such as circuit principle, analog electronic technology foundation, digital electronic technology foundation, signal analysis and processing, and applied statistics. Through study, candidates can master solid knowledge of mathematics and physics, and at the same time have strong abilities in humanities and social sciences, management science and foreign languages. After graduation, I can engage in system analysis, design, scientific research and development and management decision-making in the fields of electronic information, bioengineering, communication, computer, e-commerce, transportation and finance. Therefore, the employment scope of this major is very wide. As long as the candidates' professional ability is strong enough, it is not difficult to find a job, which further shows that this major is not bad.
Second, the inventory of the top ten worst majors in China
According to the Employment Report of College Students in China in 2020 released by Max Research, there will be ten "red cards" for undergraduate and higher vocational education in 2020. Red card major refers to a major with a large number of unemployed people and low comprehensive employment rate, salary and employment satisfaction, which can be regarded as a relatively poor major.
There are five red card majors in undergraduate employment in 2020: painting, music performance, law, applied psychology and chemistry.
In 2020, there will be five red card majors in higher vocational education: legal affairs, Chinese education, cooking technology and nutrition, primary education and tour guide.
Among the above ten majors, painting, music performance, law and chemistry were awarded the red card for undergraduates for three consecutive years, and legal affairs and Chinese education were awarded the red card for specialties for three consecutive years.
Although the employment situation of majors will be affected by factors such as the strength of colleges and universities, the mastery of their own knowledge and the opportunities after graduation, on the whole, it is not groundless for the above ten majors to be listed as red cards. For example, law major is the most common major in universities, and there are many graduates every year. Many people think that they can become lawyers after graduating from law school, but in fact, even law graduates from famous universities are not easy to find jobs unless they graduate and pass the national judicial examination. As we all know, the passing rate of the national judicial examination is very low every year.
Of course, students need not be restricted by the above list when filling in their volunteers. If you are really interested in one of the majors and constantly improve yourself in the university, you will have a good development after graduation. In fact, the major itself is not good or bad. The most important thing is to look at the mastery during college. Opportunities always favor those who are prepared. As long as you have the strength, you are not afraid of not finding a job or getting a high salary.
