Management discipline is divided into five first-level disciplines: management science and engineering, business management, public management, rural economic management and literature information management. At present, the School of Management of Hefei University of Technology carries out teaching and research work under three first-level disciplines: management science and engineering, business administration and public administration. Relying on the advantages of "management science and engineering" and "business administration", the college established the discipline of public administration in 2000 and obtained MPA in 2003. The main research direction of public management discipline is: (1) social security policy (2) e-government.
