On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Hohai University in June 2005, at the invitation of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of Hohai University, the Debate Association undertook the work of selecting debaters and forming teams, and organized a member observation delegation of about 50 people to Hohai University. This is the first visit since the establishment of the association.

From June 5438 to February 2006, he went to Hangzhou and had an exchange match with Zhejiang University.

In April, 2007, he went to Wuhan, and had an exchange competition with Huazhong Normal University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan University, and had extensive exchanges with the debating friends in Wuhan, which set off a heated debate between Nanjing and Han.

In April 2007, he participated in the second Nanjing Eight Schools Debate Competition and won the third place.

From June 5438 to February 2007, he went to Shanghai and won the Shanghai Jiaotong University Exchange Competition. Participated in the invitational tournament of "Wang Dao Cup" Kyushu Debate Competition sponsored by Fudan University Speech and Eloquence Association, and won the third place.

In March 2008, excellent debaters emerged in the freshman competition, and held two exchange competitions with Hohai University, winning the third place in the national college debate competition.

In April 2008, in order to hone the team and prepare for the major activities this semester, we held two exchange competitions with Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and Nanjing University of Science and Technology won the first Nanjing Eight Schools Competition.

In April, 2008, she participated in the "Youth Dream, Love on the Moon" debate competition for college students sponsored by Nanjing State Taxation Bureau, and won the third place. Wang Chao won the most elegant debater.

In April-May, 2008, he participated in the first Nanjing University Forum Inter-school Debate Competition sponsored by China Pharmaceutical University, and advanced to the final with a total victory in the round robin and won the championship. Han Yang and Zhang Yixiu won the title of best debater.

In May 2008, he participated in the third Nanjing Eight Schools Debate Competition, and won the championship successively over Southeast University, Nanjing Normal University and Nanjing University of Science and Technology. Zhang Yixiu and Liu won the best debater.

From June to April, 2009, we had exchanges with Southeast University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Nanjing Normal University, Suzhou University and Nanjing Agricultural University.

In April, 2009, at the invitation of Peking University, the Debate Association went to Beijing for the first time to communicate and participated in the All-Star Exhibition of the highest debate competition in foreign schools for the first time: The Front Line of Peking University.

During his stay in Beijing, the Debate Association also had exchanges with China Renmin University and other universities, and the excellent performance of Nantah debaters won wide acclaim.

June 5438+October 2009 10, Nanjing University Debate Team participated in the "National Four-City College Students Debate Invitational Tournament on the Revolution of 1911" and won the championship in succession, defeating the Debate Teams of Renmin University of China, Sun Yat-sen University and Wuhan University. CCTV 4 made an in-depth report on Nantah winning the championship. Liu won the title of "the best debater".

The debating team of Nanjing University participated in the 2009 eight-school debating competition in the Yangtze River Delta jointly sponsored by the Academic Affairs Office of Shanghai Jiaotong University and the Youth League Committee. Debate teams from 8 universities including Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Tongji University, Nanjing University, Southeast University, Zhejiang University of Technology and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University participated in the debate. After two fierce battles, the debating team of Nanjing University finally won the gold medal and achieved a complete victory. Zhang Yixiu and Liu won the title of "Best Debaters".

Several generations of Debate Association devoted themselves to innovation, which made Debate Association rapidly develop into one of the best student associations in Nanjing University. Debate Association will continue to make efforts to promote campus debate culture, enhance the eloquence of its members, and make brilliant contributions to the continuation of Nantah debate.
