Shaanxi Normal University is a university directly under the Ministry of Education, a 2 1 1 engineering university, and a double-class construction university. It is one of the six state-funded normal students. At present, there are two campuses, Chang 'an and Yanta, with 70 undergraduate majors, 36 first-level disciplines authorized by master's degrees and 18 first-level disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees. There are 1 doctoral degree authorization points (doctor of education) and 19 master degree authorization points.
In 2022, it is planned to recruit more than 3,000 full-time postgraduate students (excluding special subjects) and more than 200 part-time professional degree graduates.
National model universities for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, founding members of China-Russia Education University Alliance, New Silk Road University Alliance, Chang 'an Alliance and West Normal University Teacher Education Innovation and Development Alliance, the first batch of pilot universities for national education system reform, and national pilot universities for free education for normal students.
