Second, a brief introduction of Guizhou Normal University

The predecessor of Guizhou Normal University-"National Guiyang Normal College" was founded in 194 1, and it was one of the eight national normal colleges in China at that time. At the beginning of the school, Wang Keren, Qi, Ceng Jing, Xiao Wencan, Wang Peifen, Zhu, Yin, Li, Li Ruifu, Yang, Yao Dianzhong, Xia Yuanli, Xie, Tan, Xiang Yi, Xiong Mingqing, Hao Wuxin, Tang Bingzheng, Zhao Xianyun and Liang Zuyin. They worked hard to run the school, and passed it on from generation to generation, laying a solid foundation for the further development of the school. 1950 10 was renamed "Guiyang Normal University"; 1954 10 The Ministry of Education entrusted the Guizhou Provincial People's Government to manage Guiyang Teachers College, and the Guizhou Provincial People's Government officially took over the college on 1 10; 1985 was renamed as "Guizhou Normal University", and 1996 was identified as a provincial key university by the Guizhou Provincial People's Government; In 2004, the former Guizhou Vocational and Technical College merged; In 2006, it was included in the "Counterpart Support Program for Western Universities" of the Ministry of Education, and formed a counterpart support relationship with Xiamen University; On July 20 13, it was officially approved as an authorized unit for doctoral degree; 20 15 became an institution of higher learning established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guizhou Province; 20 16 signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Lanzhou university, opening a new situation of in-depth cooperation and collaborative innovation between the two sides; In 20 17, it became the only university in Guizhou that entered the "11plan" of the Ministry of Education/State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.

The school is located in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province, a forest city with the reputation of "Summer Capital of China". There are three campuses, located in Yunyan District, Baiyun District (Qiushi College) and Huaxi District, covering an area of nearly 2,800 mu. There are 38,000 full-time students (including Qiushi College students 1 10,000 and 2830 graduate students). There are 24 colleges, 1 continuing education college, 1 independent college (Qiushi College).
