After fierce competition, Li from Shandong and Inner Mongolia won the men's and women's championships in Malaysia in 2 hours 16 minutes and 22 seconds and 2 hours, 37 minutes and 46 seconds respectively.
In the half-horse race, Chen of Shanghai Sport University won the men's half-horse championship with a score of 1 hour 13 minutes 4 1 second. Pan Hong from Zhejiang won the women's half horse championship with a time of 1 hour 19 minutes and 39 seconds.
