Suzhou University, referred to as "Suda", is located in Suzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in China. It is a national "world-class discipline construction university" jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. The national "2 1 1 Project" and "20 1 1 Plan" were selected as the first batch of universities, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the people of Jiangsu Province.

Teaching construction:
The school has two national talent training bases, 1 national innovative talent training demonstration base, three national experimental teaching demonstration centers, 1 national virtual simulation experimental teaching demonstration center, and two national innovative experimental areas for talent training mode.
The national off-campus practice teaching base for college students 1 base, and the national cultural quality education base for college students 1 base. Nanoscience and Technology College was listed as one of the first batch of 17 national pilot colleges in China and became a special zone for the reform of higher education system and mechanism. The school has established three colleges.
