The Forestry College of Guizhou University is located in the north campus of Huaxi, and it has colleges of humanities, law, science, economy, management, foreign languages, computer and so on. Huaxi South Campus is the Animal Science Research Institute of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences. Huaxi South Campus is a college of civil engineering, machinery, mining, volunteering and environment. Tea shop campus is Mingde College. Xiaoguan Campus is a polytechnic. Trading and daipei are in Luohanying Campus and Shachong Campus.

Guizhou University (hereinafter referred to as Da Gui University) is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Guizhou Province. It ranks among the national "double-class", "21project" and "one province and one school" and is selected as the national "201/plan". The school is located in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, with Party Secretary Li Jianjun and President Song Baoan. The motto of the school is "Mingde is the best, knowledgeable and practical".
