As soon as I left the university, I was honored to be a member of Nanjing Geotechnical Engineering Company, and started a new journey in my life with good hope and self-made mentality.
In order to let us better understand the company and adapt to the work, the company specially started a week-long pre-job training for new employees from July 14. The content of this training is very rich, mainly including the company's historical evolution, the introduction of the company's organization and corporate culture, the lectures given by the company's leaders, the lectures given by the heads of various departments on relevant professional knowledge and their own experience, and the systematic study of safety, management system and file management. After seven days of training, I learned about the basic operation process of our company, as well as its development history, corporate culture, current situation and some professional knowledge that I have never been exposed to before. First of all, understand the company's historical evolution, company organization and corporate culture.
The first day of training is to introduce the historical evolution of the army. Secretary Rui introduced it in detail, as if he had led us through more than 50 years of wind and rain, witnessed the evolution of the enterprise and understood the hardships. On the same day, Secretary Zhang introduced the company's current organization to us, which enabled us to understand the company's main departments and their main functions from a macro perspective, paving the way for future contact and improving work efficiency. After working for three months, I feel that the working atmosphere, interpersonal communication and even walking on the road of the company are passionate and relaxed. Second, the training gave me a basic perception and understanding of the company's main business.
I work in the company's file room and study professional file knowledge at school. It can be said that I am a complete layman in surveying and measuring. This training is my first systematic exposure to this knowledge. Really benefited a lot and learned a lot of new knowledge.
After several professional trainings, I have a general understanding of the company's main tasks, which are roughly divided into survey, measurement, geotechnical test and detection, and the corresponding departments are responsible for them respectively. For example, the engineer's office is mainly responsible for geotechnical engineering work, mainly including survey, design, management, testing and monitoring; The testing center is mainly responsible for in-situ testing and pile foundation testing. And I have a general understanding of its main workflow and some terms, so I won't be confused about the company's main business as I was when I first came.
Thirdly, I learned the knowledge of the company's safety management and management system.
We spent a day systematically learning the knowledge of safety and company management system. I think this knowledge is still relatively unfamiliar to our fresh graduates. I think its purpose is to ensure safe production; Second, improve work efficiency; Third, enhance the corporate image. The ultimate goal is to maximize benefits. On this basis, there are still many theoretical knowledge and systems that need our attention in our daily work, such as safety. In any small link, we should pay attention to safety issues, such as power failure, fire prevention, theft prevention, and some electricity safety and personnel safety, especially in the construction site. These problems may be noticed after the actual work and written into the system, making the safety management more standardized.
The company is one of the earliest companies in the industry to integrate the three standards of management system, and has a management policy that conforms to the actual situation of the company. In the process of learning, we have learned a management mode that should be constantly changing, that is, pdca cycle: from play (planning) to doing (implementation) to inspection (analysis and inspection) to action (continuous improvement). On the last day, we first studied the company's file management system and the main functions of the company's archives room. I am familiar with this aspect because I work in the archives and have worked as an intern for 2 months. I think the value of archives lies in their utilization. When others need information, it is the most important duty of archivists to find the needed information quickly and timely. The company's archive room has a history of more than 50 years, with a sound system and clear classification of warehouses. During my internship, I deeply realized that I didn't choose the wrong company. With good infrastructure and good teachers, I can really apply what I have learned and better master theoretical knowledge through practical experience. The company's archive room is also responsible for the management of specifications and magazines, and has a special reading room to facilitate professional and technical personnel to understand the new specifications in time and grasp the new trends of the industry.
In terms of personnel, Director Li mainly introduced the treatment, holidays and titles of new employees to us. I think this should also be a topic of great concern to us. Director Li introduced the salary situation of various departments in detail. I also feel that the more transparent and fair, the more open and the less sensitive. I care more about the title. I learned a lot in this training, but what impressed me most was that every leader basically mentioned a requirement, that is, study, study and study again. I can't relax for a moment. If I want to change my professional knowledge, I need to know more about other majors, such as myself. I should know more about measurement, which will help me understand the contents of files and improve work efficiency and quality. I saw that the company also printed the management system, which clearly invented the responsibilities and rights of each post.
