Three applications for studying in Germany
Three domestic universities want to study in Germany, and the general process of preparation is as follows:

1. Prepare APS audit materials: 1-2 months.

There are many and complicated materials to be prepared for APS audit in Germany. Strict Germans require students who are preparing for a master's degree to prepare from the materials of primary schools, and then register on the roster of junior high schools, high schools and college entrance examinations, as well as the university's proof of attendance and transcripts.

2. Sign up for APS audit and wait in line for 2-5 months.

3. If the initial test is unsuccessful, try again after 3 months.

APS audit is very strict, and the pass rate of first instance is about 50%. Some majors, such as machinery, have a pass rate of less than 40%. If the first trial fails, you can apply for the second trial only after 3 months.

4. Get the audit results, prepare the application materials and apply for 1-2 months.

After the audit, you will get the audit results in about 7 days, and then you can start applying for the school. Choose which university to apply for and write the application documents.

5. Waiting for the admission result, 2-4 months.

The distribution time of German university admission results is uncertain, some schools will distribute it earlier, and some schools will distribute it shortly before admission.

6. Apply for a visa 1-2 months.

In principle, the processing period for studying in Germany is 4-6 weeks, that is, about one month to one and a half months.

7. Prepare before departure, buy air tickets, etc.

To sum up, the whole process takes about 8 months when it is fast, and a year and a half when it is slow, so we should plan ahead. The review of professional knowledge runs through the whole process from APS registration to audit. Language learning is always going on. It is suggested that students who are interested in applying for German teaching should prolong their language learning time. It is best for them to start preparing for the next semester when they are sophomores, and start learning German when they are juniors at the latest, so that the whole process will not be particularly hurried or even missed. Students who are going to apply for English teaching also get IELTS scores early.

Academic requirements for admission

1, 12 graduated from high school and passed the formal college entrance examination.

(1) China key university has a four-year undergraduate degree (with a bachelor's degree). After one semester, you can apply for direct admission without changing your major direction;

(2) Four-year undergraduate courses in domestic ordinary colleges and universities can be enrolled directly without changing the professional direction after completing three semesters;

(3) After completing one semester of study, four-year undergraduate students in China universities must pass the "College Entrance Examination" held in German university preparatory courses and obtain the college entrance examination qualification before they can apply for admission, but they must not change their professional direction;

(4) China three-year junior college (the "junior college") can apply for direct admission after two years of study; After studying for one year, you must pass the "University Entrance Examination" held at the German University Foundation before you can apply for admission. College students are only allowed to apply for "Universities of Applied Sciences" and are not allowed to change majors.

2. Those who graduated from high school in10 or10/and entered an institution of higher learning recognized in China for three years may apply for direct admission.

(1) Those who have completed two years of study must pass the "College Entrance Qualification Examination" held by the German University Foundation, obtain admission qualifications, apply for admission, and do not change their major direction. When applying, you must submit a true and effective certificate of academic qualifications.

② High school graduates who have not been admitted to universities are not eligible to apply for German universities (including pre-university courses), and their applications will be rejected.

(3) The domestic two-year college degree does not meet the requirements for applying to German institutions of higher learning.

(4) The radio and TV university education in China is usually not recognized by German universities. Only by obtaining a "bachelor's degree certificate" can you apply for a German institution of higher learning with the qualification of "equivalent academic ability".

⑤ If China University graduates choose the same major as the original major in German universities (such as engineering, science, medicine, liberal arts, economics, law, etc.). ), the university will convert according to the relevant regulations and the basic and professional courses and academic achievements of the applicant, so as to determine the corresponding "equivalent academic ability" in Germany.

⑥ Up to now, graduates from key universities in China can be exempted from taking courses for at least two academic years (four semesters), and graduates from ordinary universities can be exempted from taking courses for at least one academic year (two semesters). In other words, you can insert the third "professional semester" or the fifth "professional semester" or higher according to different situations. If you change your major direction and choose a brand-new major, you usually have to start from scratch. Sometimes you even have to go to the preparatory course first and pass the "qualification examination" before you can get the "university entrance qualification".

⑦ Bachelor degree, 1-2 years working experience. It is more suitable for "professional training courses". In some majors, those who meet the requirements of training purposes can also apply for new majors related to their occupations on the basis of the original majors according to regulations.

⑧ Generally, after completing the courses for 4-5 semesters and passing the exam, you can get a master's degree in a single subject, such as "Chief Economist" and "Chief Engineer". However, except in a few cases, it is usually impossible to continue studying for a doctorate. To apply for a Ph.D. in Germany, you must have a master's degree in China, excellent grades, strong ability to work independently and scientific research. The subject content should be leading and unique in this field, with high academic value and the necessity of studying in Germany.

Language requirements of German applicants studying abroad

Before you officially register and start studying, you must pass the German Examination for Foreign Students' Application for University Entrance (DSH) held in this university. If you fail once, you can take the exam again after half a year (at most twice). If you don't pass the DSH in one university, you can't take the exam in other universities.

Conditions for exemption from DSH:

First, German high school graduate or equivalent;

Second, have a "German second language certificate" issued by the Conference of Ministers of Culture;

Third, have the "Central Advanced Examination Certificate" of Goethe Institute;

Four, the Goethe Institute issued a "small language certificate" or "large language certificate";

Fifth, DSH is a preparatory course organized by a foreign academic university in cooperation with a German university or a German major as a foreign language. A few majors are required to submit "TOEFL test certificate" when teaching English (the minimum score is 550-580).

Cost:

German courses are taught in public universities in Germany, and students enjoy free education after entering the university through German exams. English teaching courses in German public universities are generally 0-65,438+0,000 RMB after entering universities. German school fees are different, generally ranging from 4,000 to 6,000 euros per academic year.
