Beijing Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as Beijing Institute of Technology) is directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, under the direct supervision of the central government, and compiled by the vice-ministerial level. Beijing Institute of Technology, founded in 1940, formerly known as Yan 'an Academy of Natural Sciences, is the first science and engineering university founded by China * * * Production Party; 1949, the school moved to Beijing; 1952, the school was renamed Beijing institute of technology, becoming the first national defense industry institute in new China. 1988, the school was renamed Beijing Institute of Technology.

Zhongguancun campus 1
Zhongguancun Campus is located at No.5 Zhongguancun South Street, Haidian District, Beijing. Located in the center of Beijing (within the Third Ring Road), with convenient transportation and adjacent to the National Library and Zhongguancun Science Park, it has unique advantages in running a school. Zhongguancun campus covers an area of 1.063 mu (about 708,000 square meters) and has complete infrastructure. It has the National Stadium (also used to host the China Football League) and the first-class gymnasium in China (the volleyball venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games), covering an area of 2 1 000 square meters.
2. Liangxiang Campus
Liangxiang Campus is located in the east of Liangxiang Satellite City, Fangshan District, Beijing, about 30 kilometers away from Tiananmen Square and 35 kilometers away from Zhongguancun Campus, east of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and Beijing-Shijiazhuang Expressway, within the Sixth Ring Road in the southwest of Beijing, and around Beihu Park, covering an area of 202.97 hectares (more than 3,000 mu), and is still being expanded. Liangxiang Campus is a part of the headquarters, which undertakes the teaching tasks in the basic education stage of Beijing Institute of Technology (freshmen, sophomores and some juniors).
3. Xishan experimental area
Xishan experimental area is located at No.6/KLOC-0, Lengquan East Road, Haidian District, Beijing, adjacent to Baiwang Mountain and Jingmi diversion canal, with beautiful scenery and far away from the noise of the city. Xishan experimental area was reconstructed from the former Beijing Institute of Technology Xishan Branch. In order to expand the scale of running a school and make more rational use of the land resources of the headquarters, the school moved the experimental area on the west side of the headquarters to the original Xishan branch.
4. Fangshan Campus
Fangshan Campus is located in Yancun Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, bordering Liangxiang Satellite City and Shi Jing Expressway in the east, Yanshan Petrochemical Industrial Zone in the west, Yanhua Star City in the south and Atomic Energy Research Institute of China Academy of Sciences in the north, covering an area of more than 60 mu. In the 11th Five-Year Plan, Beijing Institute of Technology will build high-standard teaching buildings, student apartment buildings and restaurants with a total area of 25,000 square meters. Standard circular runway, football field, basketball court and entertainment area are all available. Campus architecture has European style, solemn and elegant, fresh and pleasant.
5. Qinhuangdao Campus
Qinhuangdao branch, founded in 1984, is the ethnic preparatory education base of Beijing Institute of Technology. The school site is located in the seaside of Beidaihe, a scenic tourist resort, and you can reach the coast of Bohai Sea by walking one kilometer to the east and south. Qinhuangdao Branch is one of the six minority preparatory education and training bases designated by the Ministry of Education.
Training one-year ethnic preparatory students for seven national key universities, including Beihang University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin Engineering University and Northwestern Polytechnical University, with an annual enrollment of more than 500 students.
6. Zhuhai Campus
Zhuhai Campus, located at No.6 Jinfeng Road, Tangjiawan, High-tech Zone, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, is an integral part of Zhuhai's plan to set up a university research area. Covers an area of 5000 mu. There are Beijing Institute of Technology Zhuhai College, Beijing Institute of Technology Zhuhai Graduate School, Beijing Institute of Technology Zhuhai Research Institute, Beijing Institute of Technology National University Science Park Zhuhai, etc.
