Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, located in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, 27 kilometers away from the city center, is a 4F-class civil transport airport, one of the twelve major trunk airports in China, an international scheduled flight airport, a first-class airport open to the outside world and an alternate airport for international flights.
The airport covers an area of 10 square kilometer, and has three terminals: T 1, T3 (domestic) and T2 (international, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), with an area of * * * 370,000 square meters; * * * There are two runways, with the length of 3600 meters and 3400 meters respectively, which can meet the alternate requirements of A380 and below.

Construction background
Hangzhou Civil Transport Airport was formerly known as Hangzhou Jianqiao Airport. Due to the mixed use of military and civilian, 1993, provincial and municipal government departments decided to relocate and expand in different places. According to the international airport construction standards such as meteorology, topography and geology and the comprehensive strength of various places, Xiaoshan City (now Xiaoshan District) was determined.
On February 28th, 2000, Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport made its maiden voyage. At 0: 00 on the 30th, Xiaoshan New Airport was officially opened to the public.
In March of 20 13, Zhejiang Airport Group Co., Ltd. was established, and its unveiling ceremony was held in February of 20 13, holding 44.526% of provincial-level state-owned shares of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Airport Investment Co., Ltd.
From 20 14 to 10, Xiaoshan Airport officially implemented the 72-hour visa-free transit policy for foreigners. Eligible foreigners will be able to stay in Zhejiang Province for 72 hours without a visa.
