Colleges and universities have a high price of hot water per ton of 70 yuan. How should this be priced?
Recently, students of Wuhan Qingchuan College found that a new hot water meter was installed in the dormitory, and a ton of hot water was required for 70 yuan. Bath 10 minute 7 yuan. After the school interviewed the hot water supplier, the supplier's hot water price was adjusted to 55 yuan per ton. But in students' psychology, 55 yuan is also sky-high. Because the price of cold water is only five or six yuan a ton. Is this price reasonable?

Someone asked why the price of hot water in schools is so high. Does the price bureau care?

First of all, I am definitely against high-priced hot water. As a student, I have no job and lack the necessary income. Be as cheap and frugal as possible in food, clothing, housing and transportation. Even so, the expenses borne by each family for college students are still high.

But on the other hand, only some commercial hot water companies can provide continuous hot water in universities. These commercial hot water supply companies can officially operate as long as they sign a contract with the school.

But as a hot water supply company, he must first ensure that there is enough hot water supply every day.

Then there is a big cost problem:

The first is to supply so many students. What equipment do you need for hot water for bathing? The regular overhaul and maintenance of these equipment requires cost and money.

Second, to ensure hot water, there must be continuous heat energy, that is, circulating heating. Then there is the fuel cost and electricity cost of circulating heating.

Third, the construction cost and labor management cost. For example, the establishment of hot water supply or bathing hall needs to be built or leased, and the other is to be equipped with corresponding on-the-job personnel. These labor costs will exist in the cost of hot water.

Fourth, the necessary profit.

It's just that the relationship between profit and cost is not transparent to ordinary customers and students. Is how much money he can earn? Is it profiteering?

As commercial companies, their cooperation is mainly with schools. At this point, as students who use hot water, they don't have much say. You either choose to wash or choose not to wash.

So, can the price department play a coordinating role in the middle? I don't think it is realistic at present. Because there are many hot water supplies in all parts of our country, unless the state has explicit provisions, the hot water supply in colleges and universities should be controlled in which range. There is no standard for the price bureau to rely on. This caused the price bureau to temporarily lose control.

In other words, every kind of water used by students is actually high-volume commercial water. Of course, exposing this problem can also inspire schools to solve such problems. But obviously, it is impossible to enjoy water as cheap as home.
