2. English teacher training

English teachers' courses are similar to those of English majors. Freshman and sophomore are basically the same. But pedagogy and psychology are much more than English majors. If you want to be a teacher, you have to take the Putonghua test, and you have to pass Grade 2 or above.

Students of English teachers cannot apply for English-French bilingual classes.

British and American literature, introduction to linguistics, pedagogy, psychology, etc.

3. French major

The French major only started the year before last, and students are enrolled every other year. French major is a small class system, with about 20 students.

Training objectives: to cultivate a solid basic knowledge of French language and basic skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating, be familiar with French history, culture, politics, economy, society and other related disciplines, have good humanities literacy, flexible thinking and agile adaptability, have solid professional knowledge, skilled translation skills, broad international vision and strong cross-cultural communication skills, and be able to communicate in foreign affairs, economy, trade and culture.

Main courses: English: comprehensive English, English listening, oral English, translation, interpretation, English reading and English writing.

French: French intensive reading, French listening, French speaking, translation, interpretation, French reading, French writing as French literature, etc.

5. Japanese

Training objectives: to cultivate all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics, with a strong sense of national mission and responsibility, good comprehensive humanistic quality and foreign language (Japanese and English) application ability, preliminary research ability on foreign-related issues (mainly Japanese issues), solid basic knowledge of Japanese and English languages and basic foreign language skills such as reading, speaking, listening, writing and translation, and be familiar with Japanese history, culture, economy and society. Excellent language and cultural communication skills between China and foreign countries, coordination and organization skills of Chinese and foreign personnel, and the ability to serve as translators and managers in Chinese and foreign-funded enterprises related to majors such as finance, trade, production and tourism; Japanese professionals with good Japanese copywriting ability, strong problem awareness and high sensitivity to international issues can engage in translation, research, teaching and management in foreign affairs, education and scientific research, press and publication and other institutions.

According to the inter-school exchange agreements with several universities in Japan, some students of this major go to Japan to study through the exchange study abroad system.
