Dine at UCL
University College London has a special canteen for students, and there are many kinds of western food to choose from. But personally, it tastes mediocre. I only ate once and never went there again. Many buildings in UCL campus will have places to sell coffee and sandwiches, and food can be heated, such as UCLU, engineering building, main library and so on. There are many restaurants around the school, including western food, Chinese food and Japanese food. If you are at school, you can have lunch and dinner there. If the consumption is not low, it is in the center of London after all. If a normal person is relatively frugal, 7.8 kg is enough and will not exceed 10 kg.
There is generally no lunch break in Britain, and lectures usually start at 9. 10 in the morning and end at 1.2 in the afternoon. I usually go to lunch after class.
If there is no class at night or you don't need to study in the library, it is still recommended that you cook in the dormitory. After all, eating western food for a long time is not suitable for us in China, and eating out costs a lot. You can buy some vegetables and meat in the supermarket and find Chinese food recipes online, which is very economical.
A student's day
As a student of Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, I get up at 7.8 every morning, have a simple breakfast and go to school by subway. Our lectures are usually from 10 in the morning to two or three in the afternoon. After class, I will have some lunch near the school, and then continue to read literature in the school library. If there is a group assignment, you can discuss it with the group members in the library. I usually go back to my dormitory by bus at 9. 10 in the evening. Go to bed on time before 12 pm after a simple wash and relaxation. In short, UCL's academic pressure is really not small, and the students around it are excellent and hardworking. It is such a good learning atmosphere that my one-year study abroad career has benefited a lot.

supermarket
There are many convenience supermarkets around the school, such as Waitrose and Mark &; Spencer, sainsbury and Tesco. Waitrose and Mark &; Spencer is a high-end supermarket, which is expensive, but its service and quality are excellent, mainly for middle and high-end people; Sainsbury and Tesco belong to mid-range supermarkets, which are aimed at mass consumers. The products are cheap and good, and basically all the necessities of life can be bought. UCL is close to China City and Oxford Street, and shopping is very convenient.

If a club that has been established for many years does not recruit enough people this year, it will also be cancelled by UCLU. Two months before the start of school, UCL will hold a club orientation meeting, and each club will arrange booths and posters to carry out interesting activities to attract students to join. UCL has many art-related clubs, such as vocal music and dance. It is really great for non-art majors to rehearse carefully in their spare time and complete their performances with great appreciation.
