HKCEE refers to the high school graduation examination, which is divided into examination part and examination part. The examination part is divided into four grades: A, B, C and D, with C and above passing and HKCEE A D failing. If HKCEE passes all, you can get a high school diploma and take the college entrance examination. Otherwise, you will not be eligible to take the college entrance examination if you leave high school.
The college entrance examination is mainly based on the college entrance examination results. However, you must pass the exam results to enter a key university. Some key universities require students to get an A-level in HKCEE before entering the university, but their policies are different every year. Therefore, the college entrance examination admission mainly depends on the college entrance examination results. It is not added to the college entrance examination score, but recorded in your student status file, which will only be read when the university transfers files.
