Chongqing Vocal Music Culture and Art College (CVCCA for short) is a full-time ordinary higher vocational school organized by Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and it is also a national base for cultivating grassroots cultural talents.

Chongqing Vocational College of Culture and Art was established in Changjiang Theatre 1957, which mainly undertakes performing arts and cultural exchanges. 1970, Chongqing professional college student team was established; Chongqing class of Sichuan Opera School 1978 started; Chongqing Art School was founded in1985; In 2007, 2008 and 2009, Chongqing Yuping Cultural Center, Jiangnan Art School and Chongqing University Shapingba Dance School were successively integrated.

As of March 2023, the college is located in Banan Vocational College, Chongqing, covering an area of more than 460 mu. Open 6 colleges and 26 majors; There are nearly 400 faculty members and nearly 6,000 students.

By March 2023, the college had established six colleges, namely, Marxism College, Conservatory of Music, Dance and Drama College, Art Design College, Cultural Tourism College and Preschool and Art Education College, offering 26 majors.

Teaching construction:

By March, 2023, the school had built four municipal key majors, three training bases, three teaching resource banks, two vocational education double bases, five first-class (demonstration) courses, 1 municipal modern apprenticeship system, 1 municipal modern industrial college and four teaching innovation teams.

Participated in the formulation of a number of national teaching standards, and won 2 professional construction projects and 3 projects of the Ministry of Education; Won two demonstration projects by Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture and Ethnic Affairs Commission; National curriculum resource project 1 project was completed, and 4 projects were supported by the National Art Foundation. In 2020, the school organized to apply for the National Social Science Fund 1 project and two art projects, and participated in recommending the 2020 Outstanding Achievement Award (Science and Technology) of the Ministry of Education for scientific research in colleges and universities.
