Guangxi college for preschool education is the only independent preschool teachers' college in Guangxi. Guangxi Kindergarten Teacher Training Center and Guangxi Special Education Teacher Training Center are affiliated schools.

Guangxi Preschool Teachers College, formerly known as Guangxi Preschool Teachers College, was founded on 1938 by Zhang Xuemen, a famous preschool educator in China. In March 2009, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was upgraded to Guangxi Preschool Education College.
