Chongqing Normal University, founded in 1954, is a multi-disciplinary institution of higher learning with coordinated development of arts and sciences, with a campus area of 2,688 mu, including University Town Campus, Shapingba Campus and Beibei Campus.

The existing 17 secondary college has about 30,000 students, including more than 24,000 full-time undergraduates, nearly 5,000 graduate students and more than 300 international students. There are more than 2,000 on-the-job faculty members, including more than 2000 full-time titles and doctors 1000, and more than 800 doctoral tutors and master tutors.
