GuangxiUniversity, referred to as "Xida University" for short, is a national key university listed in the sequence of universities directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established with the ministries and provinces of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is a national "2 1 1 engineering" key university and a "double-class" world-class discipline construction university. The domestic first-class universities supported by Guangxi were selected into the education and training plan for outstanding engineers and outstanding legal talents.

Excellent Agriculture and Forestry Talents Education and Training Program, National High-level University Construction Postgraduate Program, Overseas High-level Talents Introduction Program, National Model University for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform, National Undergraduate Innovation Experiment Program, and China Government Scholarship Institution for Receiving International Students in China are members of the "One Province, One School" (Z 14) Alliance and one of the 50 innovative institutions for engineering postgraduate education in China. The research and practice projects of "New Engineering" include graduate schools. The school is supported by Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology and Nankai University.
