The School of Information Management of Nanjing Agricultural University was established in 2020, which was formed by the merger of the Department of Information Management and the Department of Management Engineering. It started with the specialty of agricultural library and information established by 1985 and the department of township enterprise management established by 1987.

1987 the department of agricultural library and information science was established on the basis of the major of agricultural library and information science. 1993 agricultural library and information science specialty was renamed as information management department, and 1999 specialty was renamed as information management and information system specialty. Up to now, she has been running a school in Wei Gang campus.

Established in 1987, the Department of Township Enterprise Management was renamed as the Department of Industrial Enterprise Management Engineering. In 2000, he was transferred to the School of Engineering of Nanjing Agricultural University and reorganized into the Department of Management Engineering. Since then, I have been running a school in Pukou Campus.

The college consists of information management science department, logistics engineering department and engineering and management department. * * * Undergraduate majors include information management and information system, industrial engineering, engineering management and logistics engineering. Information management and information system is a provincial specialty, and passed the CILIP certification of British Library and Information Association on 20 18. The college has a comprehensive training center for management science and engineering.
