Cui Kun, male, was born in 1925. Cui Kun 1948 graduated from department of mechanical engineering of Wuhan University. He is currently a member of the Academic Committee of China University of Science and Technology. He has won the honorary titles of "May 1st Labor Medal" and "National Excellent Educator". 1997 was elected as an academician of China Academy of Engineering.
Yuan Pan, male, was born in Yichang, Hubei, 1933. 195 1 was admitted to the Department of Electrical Engineering of National Wuhan University. Expert in magnetic confinement fusion technology and high-power pulse power supply technology, member of China Expert Committee of ITER, International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor. 1997 was elected as an academician of China Academy of Engineering.

Huang Peiyun is an expert in metal materials and powder metallurgy. 1945 received a doctorate from MIT.

Liu, male, 1930 from Wuhan, 1949 was admitted to the Department of Mining and Metallurgy of National Wuhan University. 1979- 1982 studied at Norwegian University of Technology. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at Central South University. 1997 was elected as an academician of China Academy of Engineering. Liu Jiaoshou is a famous expert in metallurgy, materials and industrial electrochemistry in China. He has done a lot of pioneering work in light metal metallurgy, molten salt electrochemistry, functional electrode materials and innovation.
The Department of Civil Engineering has been adjusted to the predecessor of Hunan University, Zhongnan College of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Huda College of Civil Engineering. Today, it is still the top eight in China and the trump card of Huda University.
