Fuzhou University (Qishan Campus) covers an area of 3,249.72 mu (including 238,937 mu of teaching area and 8,603.5 mu of living area), with a planned construction area of 6,543.8+39.33 million square meters (including 669,800 square meters of teaching area, 502,500 square meters of living area and 2,265,438+10,000 square meters of science park). By May 2023, the completed construction area is 96 1700 square meters (including 474,700 square meters of teaching area, 349,000 square meters of living area and 654,380+037,900 square meters of science park).

The planning of Qishan Campus should break the rigid composition pattern of universities of science and engineering in the past, make full use of the existing topographical features, unify buildings, squares and greening into various elements in a natural layout and organization way, conform to the trend of mountains and rivers, and organize the design in a unique and elegant way, so as to fully integrate buildings with nature and create a real landscape-style campus. The overall planning and layout of the teaching area is like an embryo, which implies that the development of our school is full of vitality. The library located in the embryo center is the central building of the teaching area, and other functional buildings are arranged radially around it. The east and west gates of the campus are also arranged on the east and west sides with the library as the central axis. The east gate faces Ambassador Avenue and is the main entrance to the campus.
