The undergraduate sociology major of this school was only opened in 2009. I was a similar social work major before, and successfully applied for a master's degree around 2007. So far, this school does not have a doctorate in sociology, and it can't recruit a doctorate in sociology. It seems that they are also recruiting doctors in other disciplines. At present, there should be no less than 30 schools offering doctoral programs in sociology in China.
You are from China University of Political Science and Law and China Youth College. However, China Youth College is a controversial school and it is not recommended to apply.
