High-tech College of Xi 'an University of Science and Technology is a full-time independent undergraduate course college sponsored by Xi 'an University of Science and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

Xi 'an University of Science and Technology is a university jointly established by the central and local governments with profound historical background, strong comprehensive strength and high school-running level. It is the only five-year undergraduate university in the west directly under the former Ministry of Coal Industry.

The school has national key disciplines of safety science and engineering, 7 provincial key first-class disciplines, covering 33 two disciplines.

There are 1 1 scientific research platforms at or above the provincial level and 1 innovative teams of the Ministry of Education, such as the State Key Laboratory of Clean Transformation of Energy and Coal Quality, the State Key Laboratory of Mining Engineering of Coal Industry (provincial and ministerial level), and the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education of Western Coal Mine Safety. At present, there are 8 national characteristic majors, 8 provincial characteristic majors 1 1, 25 national excellent courses 1, 2 provincial bilingual teaching demonstration courses, 0 national teaching team 1, and 5 provincial teaching teams 1, which is an innovative experiment of national talent training mode.
