First of all, let me explain myself. I am a graduate of 19, and I began to prepare for the exam at the end of May. My undergraduate course is an ordinary university in Jiangxi, majoring in computer, so I am a very ordinary student. I also stepped on many pits when preparing for the exam at home, so I want to share some experiences on my way to the postgraduate entrance examination. ?
Choosing a school and choosing a major?
I applied to Nanchang University, majoring in computer science and technology, and got a master's degree. Prepare for the exam at the beginning of June. Compared with the same batch of candidates, I prepared very late, didn't have enough time to change my major, and didn't have any special interest in other majors, so it would be relatively simple to choose my own major. ?
There are several reasons for choosing a school: First, from the perspective of the city, choosing a city you like will be very helpful to your work and life as a graduate student in the next few years. I have considered developing in Nanchang in the future, so I give priority to the institutions in Nanchang. The computer major in NTU is quite good, and some of my classmates have been admitted to NTU, which is very beneficial to information acquisition and tutor selection in the future. When choosing a school, I suggest that you can choose according to the order of city, major and school, so that you can quickly screen out the suitable schools. In addition, sometimes it is really important to choose the right school according to your learning ability, so don't sell yourself short, or your efforts for a year will be in vain and you will get nothing. ?
Postgraduate politics?
Before the postgraduate entrance examination, the postgraduate entrance examination politics was always a subject I was worried about, because history and politics were poor, but the postgraduate entrance examination politics was still very different from what I imagined. At the beginning of my political career, I watched Xu Tao's online class and started watching Ma Yuan's video in mid-June. Ma Yuan's part focuses on understanding, which is very helpful for later memory practice. Xu Tao's lecture is very humorous, and Ma Yuan's knowledge points are easy to understand. Some difficult points can be noted appropriately in the book. ?
The book I used was Xiao Xiurong's three-piece set, but I didn't use it to tell the real problem in the end. After watching Ma Yuan's video, I only watched a part of the later modern history and Mao Zhongte. I suggest that politics should not spend too much time watching videos, otherwise it will take too long. Except for the part of Ma Yuan, I have completely forgotten the later modern history and Mao Zhong's special video. After reading a chapter, you can do a chapter 1000 questions, and it is best to brush a thousand questions two or three times, which can be adjusted according to time. Ma Yuan must brush it twice. I didn't have time at the back. I just brushed it once, and then brushed the original part twice. When I finish the second brush, Ma Yuan will have a transparent feeling.
Later, when eight sets of papers came out, you could do eight sets of multiple-choice questions and brush them several times. Four sets of papers come out to recite big questions. I recite four sets of papers by Miss Xiao Xiurong, not to mention whether the questions are accurate or not. I'm full anyway. 1 1 In the middle and late months, I also recited part of the recitation contest with Teacher Xu Tao, and Mao Zhongte's recitation was very helpful for making multiple-choice questions. Most of the scores of eight sets of four sets of multiple-choice questions are not very good, mostly in their twenties, mainly because I can't do many questions about Mao Zhongte and modern history. Mao Zhongte and the knowledge points of modern history multiple-choice questions are trivial and difficult to remember. Anyway, I didn't remember too much after reading a lot of knowledge points, or maybe I didn't brush enough questions in this part. I remember watching a video of one or two leg sisters punching in class two days before the exam, about two or three hours. There is a summary of the method of doing multiple-choice questions in Mao, which I think is very useful and useful for some uncertain options. Finally, my political achievements were also very satisfactory. The score of 7 1 was much better than expected. Anyway, after careful political preparation, the result will not be too bad.
Postgraduate English?
I may not be very representative of the experience of preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination. Because I am a person who doesn't like memorizing words very much, I didn't memorize words on purpose. I listened to a video of Zhu Wei's love of characters in the early stage, and only listened to a few units, about five or six units. I speak very well, and it is very helpful to remember some words. If I had enough time, I would still go to his word class, but his word class will always be words.
I started reading in late June. I'd better start reading early, and my vocabulary will improve faster. Read an article the day before. I read a question, read the article accordingly, and find the answer with the question.
After I finish, I will look up new words, and then write word explanations next to them, sometimes in the reading space, but don't learn from me. Reading needs to be done twice, so don't mark Chinese meanings next to words, or you will lose interest in reading the second time. I will glance at the meanings of new words, and I will draw a little ugliness on the paper I read. The words I have looked up mean east and west. At the end of reading, I watched the video of Tang Chi about reading methods. There are many dry goods. For example, the topic can be connected in series with the first sentence of each paragraph to choose the correct answer. A sentence is often divided into paragraphs independently, which is often the central idea. I didn't know what to look at before, but it was still very useful. There are many English routines for postgraduate entrance examination, and reading with methods will be more efficient. You must use more methods to really remember them. ?
As for English composition, I memorized teacher Wang Jiangtao's high score model essay with audio, so I can understand the composition first and then listen to the audio. I should pay attention to the words I can't understand. After listening, I will read it by myself and read it several times. A composition is divided into about four days. On the first day, I can understand and read them. The next day, I will read and recite them. On the third day, I will write them down silently. You really have to master the composition before you can use it. I recited my composition too late. I only recite seven or eight articles, mainly because I am unfamiliar with them. But just after reciting the composition mock exam, I will write a lot and my mind will not be empty. ?
I have nothing to say about translation and new problems. I've been watching it in the early stage, and I've also practiced a few articles in the later stage of the mock exam. I feel that reading and vocabulary are the main things.
Postgraduate math?
I watched the video of teacher Zhang Yu in the whole process of mathematics postgraduate entrance examination. Personally, I like the way teacher Zhang Yu lectures, which is direct, efficient, interesting and not boring. Of course, I was also recommended to listen to Li Yongle and Wang Shian. Among me, I try to do this. I was really anxious. I don't know where to start when listening to other teachers' classes, so I can't calm down. I always wanted to fast forward, but I finally saw one. It is really the most important thing to suit yourself. It's a waste of time for teachers to change careers. I suggest that it is a bit difficult to keep changing teachers to adapt to different teachers' teaching habits. ?
The book I use is 1000 questions and closed-door exercises by teacher Zhang Yu. I watched the video of the basic class in the early stage. After watching one or two videos, I will do 1000 questions accordingly. There are fewer videos, so do more questions. Don't worry about the progress, because some chapters in mathematics will be more difficult, and if you are anxious, you will not be in the mood to do it. But in fact, you are ahead, and you still have to make up time later. In addition, mathematics is really a subject that needs to be summarized. You can summarize the idea of doing the problem and record it. If you forget to look at it in the future, it will be very simple. Some knowledge points may have no concept at all after listening to the video, or they don't know which knowledge point to use, such as curve and surface integral with high numbers. When I first started watching the video, I was a little confused. The first curve and surface are mixed with the second curve and surface, and there are many knowledge points. I was also anxious at that time. I studied this chapter very hard. I just don't know where to start, so I took the time to sum up the differences between the two and see which knowledge points are used in which questions.
In intensive classes, closed-door exercises are used. The knowledge points summarized by closed-door exercises are very comprehensive. If you forget, you have to experience it. Just like an encyclopedia, hahaha, it is very helpful for later review. You can also write your own knowledge points on it. After a complete and systematic study, you can start to do the real questions. Doing real questions can make good use of what you have learned and review what you have forgotten. After finishing a set of summaries, mark the questions that you can't do with the knowledge points that you haven't remembered, so that you can remember them later. The real questions can start earlier, and the real questions can help you quickly understand what the real questions are like in the exam. It may be a bit painful to learn mathematics in the early stage. People often forget it and lose confidence in themselves, but it's okay. At the step of starting the real question, after doing several sets, you will find that most of the knowledge points are still remembered. The parts that are not remembered really need to be understood thoroughly. Maybe they are always forgotten because of incomplete understanding, and some parts need to be memorized. You can remember them in some interesting ways, and you can always remember them. ?
Specialized courses?
Specialized courses are relatively simple. There was only the book Data Structure in the exam, and I bought the book Wang Dao, and I did the same problem in an exercise during the exam. I started reviewing in September, and almost finished reviewing in the middle of 1 1 month. I'm also behind schedule. Actually, it doesn't take that long. I mainly review my professional courses, watch a little every day, and then do some exercises. There is no problem in understanding the knowledge points. They are all basic questions. If there are difficulties in specialized courses, you might as well sign up for a specialized course, such as one-on-one tutoring course for xxx graduate students, which is highly targeted, flexible in class time negotiation and free to answer after class, which is of great help to specialized courses. ?
About the second interview
The second interview is divided into computer examination, comprehensive interview and professional interview. Among them, a comprehensive interview is to read an English paper and then translate it. Personally, it's just a formality. The key is to look at the computer test. Computer test can reflect your personal coding ability and give students with low scores in the initial test a chance to counterattack. After studying with General Manager Y of xxx, I finished his basic course in one month, and I feel that my coding ability has been greatly improved. If you can't reach the average score of computer test, the disadvantage is obvious. For students with low scores in the initial test and no other bright-eyed advantages, the possibility of landing is basically zero, so special attention should be paid to the training of computer test.
Before the professional interview, you will be asked to submit a personal statement, which is very important and needs to be written carefully to show your advantages as much as possible.
During the interview, the teacher will ask questions according to your ppt and personal statement. If your resume is blank, that is, you have no project or scientific research experience (especially for non-regular students), I suggest you go to xxx to find some open source projects or follow some training camps to do projects after the initial test. These projects can be put on ppt and personal report, but you need to be very clear about the algorithm and details of the project. If the teacher is interested in you, he will ask you about your project one after another. Don't worry about the students with poor undergraduate grades, the grade point is not very important, and the teacher pays more attention to your coding ability (this is also the reason why the students in the class have a high landing rate, and the project can reflect your coding ability). For some difficult questions, which are actually stress interview, you can honestly answer them.
Other suggestions
1. I make a plan every day in the process of reviewing for the postgraduate entrance examination, which is equivalent to making a todolist. I suggest you don't need to be meticulous in planning. You don't think the time period needs to be too detailed and accurate. You just need to list what you need to finish that day, such as what you have to finish that day, and what you have the strength to finish, as the case may be. I think it is necessary to make a plan, which is not only a kind of supervision, but also a grasp of my own learning progress.
2. If you rely heavily on your mobile phone when reviewing for the postgraduate entrance examination (such as me), you can try to lock your mobile phone. The software I use is xxx. I set a fixed period of time to lock my mobile phone every day, which is actually very effective.
3. Fragment time in the review process of postgraduate entrance examination is also very important. For example, on the way to the school library, when eating, these time can be used. I usually recite English words or brush political applets during the fragmentation time. ?
Finally, I want to say that the postgraduate entrance examination is getting more and more rolled up. There is a high probability that the number of people will exceed the 500w mark next year, and the chance of missing it is getting smaller and smaller. I can only roll it up! I hope that the friends who plan to take the postgraduate entrance examination can stick to it and land successfully!
Although the preparation process is hard, it is not as difficult as expected. I still go to play on weekends when I should. Sometimes it is good to relax properly during preparation. People's energy is really limited I was very serious when I first started preparing for the exam. The pace of learning is fast, and then it becomes slower and slower. Sometimes I play with my mobile phone all day and take a few days off when I don't want to study. Anyway, no matter how long the stopover is, just stick to the end.
