The College of Arts and Sciences of Yangtze University (referred to as the College) is a full-time general institution of higher learning founded by Yangtze University in 2004, which enrolls students from 26 provinces (cities, districts) all over the country, and has the qualification of independently awarding bachelor's degrees and jointly cultivating double bachelor's degrees with Yangtze University.
Yangtze University is the largest comprehensive university in Hubei Province and a "double-class" university in Hubei Province. Relying on and enjoying the high-quality educational resources of Yangtze University, the college has nine teaching units, including the Department of Economics and Law, the Department of Humanities and Media, the Department of Foreign Languages, the Department of Electromechanical and Information Engineering, the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Architecture and Design, the Department of Basic Courses and the Department of Higher Vocational Education. There are 40 undergraduate majors and 6 specialist majors/kloc-0. Undergraduate majors involve 65438 economics, agronomy, medicine, management and art.
