Zhengzhou University, referred to as "Zheng Da", is located in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. It is a university jointly established by the people of China, the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Henan Province. It is a national "double-class" university with "2 1 1 project".

The school has successively been selected into the national "20 1 1 plan", "11plan", the national public postgraduate plan for building high-level universities, the education and training plan for outstanding engineers, the education and training plan for outstanding legal talents, the education and training plan for outstanding doctors, the national innovation experiment plan for college students and the national innovation plan for college students.
