The speaking test is divided into three parts:

The first part: According to the examiner's instruction, two candidates introduce themselves briefly, and each candidate answers questions for 20 seconds; Then each candidate answers a question for 30 seconds. This part is mainly to "warm up" and let candidates enter a good test-taking state.

The second part: according to the examiner's instructions and the text or picture prompts displayed on the screen, candidates prepare 1 minute, and then make personal statements on the prompts in turn, and each candidate answers 1 minute for 30 seconds; After that, the two candidates discussed the designated topic for 3 minutes. This part is the key content of the exam, which tests the candidates' coherent oral English expression ability, as well as their oral communication skills such as conveying information, expressing opinions, participating in discussions and debates.

Part III: Candidates answer a question separately again, and each candidate answers for 45 seconds. This part gives candidates an opportunity to further demonstrate their oral communication skills.
