Supplementary records of British universities
At present, there are several ways for senior one, senior two and senior three students to study in Britain:

Scheme 1: 2-year A-Level course +3-year undergraduate course.

Enrollment target: students in Grade One and Grade Two.

Admission requirements: pass the school entrance examination or IELTS 6.5.

Suitable for the crowd: the family has good economic conditions and strong strength, and wants to enter the top prestigious schools.

This scheme is suitable for those students who are strong and bent on getting into top universities.

After two years of high school study, students are expected to enter the world's top universities including Oxford and Cambridge through their own efforts.

Option 2: British University Foundation +3-year undergraduate course

Enrollment target: students or graduates from Grade Two and Grade Three.

Admission requirements: high school transcript+IELTS 5.0 or 6.0.

Suitable for the crowd: most students

This program is suitable for students who want to complete a relatively well-known undergraduate degree.

Students with a high school diploma or above can apply for an undergraduate preparatory course with their high school transcripts, and then enter the three-year undergraduate study after successful completion. For most China students, it is beneficial and harmless to take a preparatory course before going to university in England. Teaching language courses, specialized courses and learning methods in preparatory courses can help students better adapt to foreign teaching and achieve good results in undergraduate courses.

Many famous universities in Britain offer preparatory courses, such as Warwick University Preparatory Course, London University Asian-African College Preparatory Course, Newcastle Preparatory Course and so on. After studying in Britain for one year, you can enter a British university.

Option 3: Freshman Accelerated Diploma Course+Two-year Undergraduate Course

Enrollment target: senior three graduates.

Admission requirements: three-year high school transcript+IELTS 5.0 or 6.0.

Suitable for the crowd: students with average academic performance and less wealthy families.

Some universities in Britain offer first-year diploma courses, and high school graduates can apply with three-year transcripts.

During the freshman diploma course, students will learn intensive language and academic courses.

After completing this course, students can go directly to the second year of college and get a degree from slow three at the latest. This way saves money.

After a year's time and expenses, it has become the first choice for students with general economic conditions.

This program is suitable for those students who have insufficient funds for studying abroad and want to take cost-effective courses;

Scheme 4: Direct undergraduate study

Enrollment target: senior three graduates.

Admission requirements: College entrance examination score+IELTS 6.0 or 6.5. Through the sea election in Cambridge, there are also a few other institutions that recruit senior three graduates to directly enter the freshman year.

Suitable for the crowd: a very small number of outstanding students or students who meet the direct learning requirements of undergraduate courses.

For a few outstanding high school graduates, it is also a good choice to apply for undergraduate courses directly through UCAS (British Higher Education Admissions Office). However, students are required to achieve excellent results in the college entrance examination, IELTS score can reach 6.0 or 6.5, and they must pass the Cambridge sea election! At present, it seems that most of the students who study in this way are very few outstanding students in key high schools such as provincial experiments and provincial education.

When studying in the UK, students can apply online. Generally, they can apply for up to 6 universities.

Personal information should be filled in for online application: current subjects, domestic high school grades, personal statement,

A letter of recommendation from a subject teacher/international department or head teacher who is also studying in a British university.

Online application time

Generally speaking, before September1-February 15, the application fee for UCAS is 16. From February to March of the following year, we will receive an Offer from the university. Then each student chooses two universities among the accepted schools: one is the favorite school and the other is the alternative school, and informs UCAS of his choice.

If the scores of A Level, IB or Foundation meet the requirements of the selected university, and the IELTS scores also meet the requirements of the university, they will be admitted to the school. If the final grade can't meet the requirements, you need to apply for a supplementary record before the start of each university in August-September.
